Enforcement & Modification
Sometimes a final judgment of divorce or other court order does not resolve everything. If someone refuses to abide by the order, or if circumstances change so much that the judgment is no longer fair, you may want to enforce or try to renegotiate the terms of your final order. You should know that the law makes it very difficult to change a final order in court, especially when it was based on an agreement you entered into at an earlier time.
Jane is available as a neutral mediator to assist you and your partner consider what solution might work for both of you. If you prefer to return to court to seek a judicial solution, Jane can advise you about your various options and represent you in whatever course of action you decide is best. Mediation services are billed at an hourly rate and paid after each session. For court matters, Jane charges an advanced retainer and bills at an hourly rate. Call for her current fee schedule. |
